Lymphodys, a biotechnology startup, is dedicated to finding therapeutic solutions for pathologies related to lymphatic vascular system failure. These pathologies lead to alterations in skin, subcutaneous and adipose tissue for which no treatment is currently available on the market. After several years of collaboration between Inserm and University Hospital in Toulouse, a therapeutic solution in gene therapy to treat lymphedema, a chronic, painful and disabling pathology, is emerging. A phase I/IIa clinical trial will be conducted in patients who developed lymphedema after breast cancer.
