Lynher Dairies are the sole producers of nettle-wrapped Cornish Yarg, Wild Garlic Yarg, Cornish Kern (a Supreme Champion at the World Cheese Awards), and buttery Stithians. Our cheeses are made by hand in open vats from the creamy milk produced by our own Ayrshires and other carefully selected local herds. Yarg is not made anywhere else. Every single truckle comes from our small rural dairy at Ponsanooth in mid Cornwall but is sold all over the world. We belong to Cornwall Food and Drink, Dairy UK, and sponsor the UK Cheese Guild and the Academy of Cheese. We are also proud members of the Specialist Cheesemakers Association.
