Technology with Vision Lynxrail designs, manufactures and installs high technology video imaging equipment for the efficient and continual monitoring of rolling stock. Our Automated Train Examiner (ATEx) systems use high quality optics and electronics along with sophisticated software to capture, analyse and report on the condition of rolling stock components such as wheels and brakes. Our ATEx systems can capture images at up to 160 km/hr on trains in revenue service and customized reports are produced on fleet and wagon condition. The ATEx technology allows rail companies to predict their maintenance needs and identify problems in the early stages which delivers significant financial and safety rewards. Lynxrail ATEx systems operate in the climatic extremes from northern Australia to Canada. The Lynxrail ATEx modules are: Brake Pad Examiner, Wheel Profile Monitor, Bogie Side Frame (end caps, spring nest and friction wedges), Bogie Geometry, Tracking and Hunting, Under-carriage. AEI is integrated so that defects can be attributed to the correct vehicle. The Lynxrail Asset Protection Team operates 24/7 to ensure the highest level of safety and support for your rollingstock.
