OUR FIRM Established in 1961, LYON is a family-owned multi-discipline consultancy, headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii. LYON's work includes infrastructure-improvement projects, roads and highways, utilities, institutional facilities and housing developments. LYON's eight international offices provide a significant geographic reach, but our ongoing emphasis remains serving the unique needs and conditions of island-based work. At LYON, we understand Island Life. Frank Lyon, drawn to Hawaii's natural beauty, settled his business in Honolulu in 1972. His son, Jim Lyon, now manages the company, instilling a company culture of respect, cooperation and understanding. LYON's mission is to improve the quality of life for local residents.
