About LZV - Dutch Veterans Health Care

The National health care system for veterans (in Dutch: LZV) offers an integrated care concept for Dutch veterans and their families. The care system is initiated in 2005 by the Dutch Department of Defence and based on a civil-military cooperation. We offer primary and secondary healthcare behind a central registration point for requests for assistance, called the Veteranenloket (Dutch Veteran Office) In the care system twelve organisations are working together, with a convention agreement and a formal regulator, the supervisory board (in Dutch: RZO)
