M.E.C.H. Mechanical Electrical Computer Hub

Mechanical Electrical Computer Hub [ M.E.C.H. ] gives college students the freedom to explore their own project ideas and inventions without having to worry about funding their projects while in college. M.E.C.H. is one of the first prototyping and inventing club at the University of South Florida in Tampa where students propose their ideas, much like the T.V. show Shark Tank, and members and officials vote for projects based on criteria such as feasibility, risk, cost, and schedule. From individual inventions to large scale projects, from robotics lessons to competitions, the club offers a wide variety of chances to learn the design process while connecting with fellow colleagues from all walks of majors and life. The co-founders were : Thao Do, Victor Vegas, Dominic Cox , Austin Mathews , Christian Rodriguez , Michael Corrigan, Joel Jenkins , Louis Melgar The club owes it's successes, and continued successes, to the co-founders, initial members, current members, the support of the community and USF, Dr. Celestin and the current executive members. The lead founder was Mr. Serge Dines.
