M.IDEA is a media center for internal and external multimedia communications that is established at Fellmannia by a student group of Lahti University of Applied Sciences in an entrepreneurial fashion. The purpose of the media center is to create novel ways of producing and thinking. The students will have tutoring teachers but in practice the overall responsibility lies on the students themselves: planning of identity and brand, marketing, purchasing devices and budgeting.
M.IDEA on Lahden ammattikorkeakoulun opiskelijoiden yrittäjämäisesti toteuttama Media Center -konsepti. Fellmannian IDE -tilaan perustetussa media loungessa toteutetaan sisäistä ja ulkoista multimediaviestintää. M.IDEAn tarkoituksena on pohtia uusia tapoja tuottaa ja ajatella asioita. Opiskelijat toteuttavat itse kaiken, eli identiteetin, brändin, markkinoinnin, laitehankinnat ja budjetoinnin. Heidän tukenaan ovat ohjaavat opettajat. M.IDEA koostuu kuuden hengen ydinryhmästä, joka organisoi noin viidentoista opiskelijan ryhmän toimintaa.
