M. Lambe Construction

M. Lambe Construction company information, Employees & Contact Information

Our story was almost over before it began. In the early 1960s, Philomena and Mick Lambe Snr left Ireland hoping to make a better life. Mick proudly worked at the Dunlop tyre factory before finding his way into construction - like many other Irish men of his generation. By 1983, he'd built a promising business with a fellow Irishman. One day, that business partner emptied the company bank account and disappeared. The bank refused help. They said he'd be out of business in 2 months. But one loyal client stepped in, paying Mick weekly to start one site and keep his team working. That single act of faith is why we’re here today. Three generations later, we still live by the values we started with - building lasting relationships through quality work and keeping promises. Now we deliver £2M-£100M groundworks contracts for Midlands housebuilders who believe doing the right thing matters - on-site and in the communities we serve. Last year, 85% of our £103 million turnover came from repeat business. In an industry where hidden costs and slow communication are common, we focus on making your life easier: ✅ 82% of customer care issues resolved within 5 days ✅ Live site data so you can track your most important KPIs in real time ✅ Roads to adoptable standards within 3-6 months so you can recover your bonds faster ✅ Staged plot handover documentation to improve quality and accountability on-site Through the Christy Lambe Foundation, we champion mental health in construction and address homelessness in our local communities. Our clients stay because we bring solutions, not problems. And because, together, we're building an industry we can all be proud of.
