MISSION
Coordinate integration of Service Member Families into Hawaii’s socioeconomic ecosystem, resulting in higher Veteran retention, effective crisis management, and an enriched community experience.
VISION
To engage, retain, train, integrate and connect transitioning service families to opportunities within Hawaii’s socio-economic eco-system. We intend to increase Veteran Retention from 3% to 10% in the first year.
We are engaging with businesses and Veteran service providers to synergize efforts and maintain accountability on new State sanctioned, metric driven Veteran Retention goals, building a better state-military relationship.
WHY
For every Veteran that MASTER-C selects, trains and successfully integrates in Hawaii, our State will receive (per Veteran retained) a minimum annual increase of $153,575 in taxes and total economic activity.
Veterans and their families, are a vital social, cultural, and economic stimulus to our ecosystem. MASTER-C serves as the relationship building 'hub' for those in the military community transitioning, unemployed and under-employed. They refer Veterans to existing programs where services exist; they capitalize on, and do not replicate efforts.
