M6 Engineering P.C. is a Hispanic owned firm established in New York State and is a certified DBE, MBE and SBE. The firm’s founder, Jimmy Maldonado, is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York with over 34 years of construction management experience in the public and private sectors. Mr. Maldonado spent the first thirteen years of his career as a government employee for the New York State Department of Transportation and the MTA Bridges and Tunnels; the following twenty-one years he worked as a private contractor. This career path has granted him extensive experience in managing complex projects including but not limited to design build, tunneling, highways, roadways, bridge construction and rehabilitation, orthotropic deck fabrication and installation, foundations, watermains, mass transit, commercial and institutional building construction, sewer line, and sewage treatment plant.
