Ma’an is under the umbrella of the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi with the aim of bringing together the government, the private sector, and civil society to support a culture of social contribution and participation.
Our mission is to enable communities in Abu Dhabi to collaborate and contribute towards the common good.
Supporting the development of the third sector in Abu Dhabi, we help responsible Non for profits associations or foundations and social enterprises set up in the city and contribute to a stronger, active and connected community.
We will also deliver solutions for social challenges, operating across four main pillars of work – a Social Investment Fund, a Social Incubator Program, Community Engagement Program and the introduction of a new type of public contracting, Social Impact Bonds.
We’re proud to be a part of Abu Dhabi’s development accelerator initiative ‘Ghadan 21’ under the directive of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

كما نقدم الحلول للقضايا الاجتماعية عبر أربعة محاور رئيسية وهي: صندوق الاستثمار الاجتماعي، وبرنامج الحاضنة الاجتماعية، وبرنامج المشاركة المجتمعية، وإدخال نوع جديد من التعاقدات الاجتماعية وهو سندات الأثر الاجتماعي.
