The Authority of Social Contribution - Ma'an

Ma’an is under the umbrella of the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi with the aim of bringing together the government, the private sector, and civil society to support a culture of social contribution and participation. Our mission is to enable communities in Abu Dhabi to collaborate and contribute towards the common good. Supporting the development of the third sector in Abu Dhabi, we help responsible Non for profits associations or foundations and social enterprises set up in the city and contribute to a stronger, active and connected community. We will also deliver solutions for social challenges, operating across four main pillars of work – a Social Investment Fund, a Social Incubator Program, Community Engagement Program and the introduction of a new type of public contracting, Social Impact Bonds.
