Maan Foundation

Maan Foundation is a non for profit organization that works for the upliftment of the sex worker community of G.B. Road, Delhi by providing them with the services of building their documentation, providing them healthcare services and education. The foundation is led by the community members- Kunal and Akash who are Grassroot Leaders at Light Up (Emotions Matter Foundation). Kunal and Akash are 22 and 19 respectively. Kunal had completed his schooling at NIOS and Akash is currently studying at the same institute. As part of the community, they wish to work and give it back to their community. Their vision is to open a healthcare clinic in G.B. Road for all the women of the sex worker community as their health is neglected and ignored. They wish to provide the women with a safe space by coming up with community solutions.
