MAB Kargo is a cargo airline with its head office based at the Advanced Cargo Centre (ACC) on the grounds of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang.
It is the main cargo division of its parent company Malaysia Airlines Berhad which operates scheduled, chartered air cargo services, ground handling services as well as airport to seaport cargo logistics via ground transportation.
Serving almost 100 destinations worldwide, MAB Kargo delivers through scheduled freighter services and belly space capacity on its holding company’s aircrafts, MAS and its other subsidiaries.
MAB Kargo operates its own freighter fleet, three Airbus 330-200F.
Today, MAB Kargo has developed into a global brand by becoming one of the most trusted cargo carriers particularly in Asia.
At its 108-acre complex equipped with state-of-the-art cargo handling facilities, MAB Kargo serve varied customer’s cargo needs and has the ability to handle up to one million tonnes of cargo annually.
Furthermore, this global transshipment hub is also equipped with sophisticated security features. Not to mention, the latest technology in advanced cargo handling process, fully automated procedures and real-time data tracking.
A distinctive feature of its own kind, MAB Kargo is complemented with other value added services. Among them are the; Six-Star Animal Hotel, One-Stop Perishable Center and the world's first Priority Business Centre (PBC) for key forwarding agents.
Recently, MAB Kargo along with its industry partners led the expansion of the IATA Secure Freight Programme, an initiative to promote global air cargo supply chain security standards which aims for a secure supply chain program, hence strengthening cargo security in the region.
