Jess graduated from Randolph-Macon College with a degree in Environmental Studies and a minor in Communications, enhancing his understanding of the area's unique characteristics.

Jess is married to his wife, Breanna, and they have three kids. Jess and his family love the outdoors, the beach, and exploring nature together. On the side, he enjoys fishing with the good-ol’ boys and cooking, enjoying quality time spent together.
