I served as a GTM executive for 3 of the fastest ever growing SaaS companies: Slack (CRO/CMO), Zendesk (CMO) and Salesforce (SVP Marketing). I have achieved 5 exits over my career. I now enjoy helping other companies achieve hyper-growth by leveraging my cumulative knowledge and helping build best in breed GTM playbooks and teams. At Slack, I served as the CRO/CMO coming in as marketing employee #1 and building out the entire marketing, sales, customer success and customer support teams. Slack is the fastest growing B2B company ever hitting $100M in ARR in just over 2 years. At Zendesk, I served as the CMO, building out out their marketing team from scratch and taking them through a highly successful IPO. At Salesforce, I served as SVP of Marketing helping grow the company to over $3B in revenues. I have a passion for how to scale and structure go-to-market at SaaS companies to achieve hyper-growth with a unique customer centric approach. I’m passionate about working with CEO’s to design, recruit, interview and build out world class marketing and GTM organizations. I want to share with you the successful GTM secrets that have fueled hyper-growth. I hope to be a board advisor that has been there as an actual operator and achieved multiple exits through acquisitions and IPO. I will give you honest feedback. My background brings 20 years of experience on the operator side leading Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Support teams. My specialty is marketing but I love all go-to-market disciplines. I believe in mission driven companies who are changing the world for the better with innovative technology and business models. I’m a strong advocate for the overall customer experience.
