About Macfarlane Lantern Publishing
MACFARLANE LANTERN PUBLISHING is a Scottish independent publishing house based in Glasgow. In 1590 the Macfarlanes used to raid cattle from rival clans under the light of the moon which then became known as Macfarlane’s Lantern. Our founder, Hayley Louise Macfarlane, loved this piece of family history so much she decided to name her company after it! It is in such a way that Macfarlane Lantern Publishing was born. We focus on promoting up-and-coming voices through the publication of short story anthologies, with all profits going to charity.
