Machghalna

Newly opened atelier, “Machghalna” is a family-owned business located in the north of Lebanon, in a small town called “Zgharta”. The idea of “Machghalna” came from the owner of Salma maternity wear, Salma, who knew that women in her town and the neighboring town are in desperate need of jobs. She decided to dedicate this atelier for them, where only women work and produce. On the other hand, Salma did not want to keep importing from abroad, “we have talent and strength to produce our own products here in Lebanon”. Despite the hardships of the current economical situation, “Machghalna” is here to present hope, and to be an alternative to growing businesses. The atelier is opened to all kinds of textiles productions: clothes, underwear, cottonade… The women working at “Machghalna” have an extensive experience in sewing and creating, and on the other hand, Salma has an intense experience in textiles creating and choosing, where she always makes sure to curate the best textiles that meet the requirements of the clients. “Machghalna” operates every day except on Saturdays and Sundays.
