Mackintosh Burn Ltd is a civil engineering company primarily based in Kolkata and has played a key role in shaping up kolkata. Mackintosh Burn Limited, a Company specialized in Civil Construction, Structural Fabrication & Erection started its voyage way back in 1834 under the able guidance of Mr. James Mackintosh. Since then, the Company has experienced various formations in its status and was eventually converted into A Government of West Bengal Enterprise during 2010. The Company spreading its wings in the construction of bridges, viaducts and aqueducts in the year 1975 and has its credit Karalaghat Bridge, Disherghat Bridge, Pandabeswar Bridge, Rellie Bridge, Jamunajore Bridge Bridge, Jangalkanya Setu at Bharasaghat, Saptamukhi Bridge,Dharala Aqueducts, viaducts for approaches for 2nd Hooghly Bridge (vidya sagar Setu), , Maida Fly over, Birati flyover etc. to name a few.
