Dr Macmillan witnesses first-hand a candidate's punctuality, their attention to detail and proactivity, their likeability, and their technical strengths and weaknesses. He also assesses their potential and their ideal working environment. His methodologies include carefully-designed technical tasks as well as casual and impromptu conversations, which no formal process can capture.
Every candidate comes to Dr Macmillan as a blank page. Through direct engagement over several hours, he gets to know them as a person, analysing their capabilities and disposition, their professional competency and attitude, and their interpersonal skills.
