We believe it is important to provide asylum-seekers and refugees the dignity to work, be safe and earn a fair living to support themselves while in their country of asylum. At MAD, we assist asylum-seekers and refugees to learn basic entrepreneurship and career prep skills. Prior to working with the refugee community in Malaysia, we focused on fundraising for water and sanitation projects across Kenya, Sri Lanka, and Cambodia through crowdfunding and exposure-volunteer field trips.
