LEAP Micro AD

LEAP Micro AD is a dynamic, multidisciplinary organisation developing advanced micro-scale AD (anaerobic digestion) technology as part of a decentralised, circular bio-economy model. Our modular, scalable, zero waste solution supports local employment and training opportunities and strengthens local economies. Renewable energy and fertiliser from on-site food waste management are used for intensive, local food production, eliminating food and waste miles while offering net-negative carbon operation to help customers achieve net-zero carbon and recycling targets. We are developing consultancy alongside a range of micro AD systems integrated with food production modules as well as mobile digestate processing technology, which will be demonstrated across the UK and EU in 2022. We also offer engineering design and prototype fabrication capacity from our Gloucestershire workshops. LEAP works with partners in the UK, EU, Nigeria and Malaysia adapting its technology to give organisations and communities on the ground the tools to make significant contributions towards climate warming mitigation and adaptation.
