About MADAD Collective - مَدَد
Who We Are: MADAD Collective is a community-driven movement dedicated amplifying the voices and visions of Palestinian Refugees - especially those living in camps across Palestine and neighboring countries. We work at the intersection of grassroots partnerships, research, and media production to challenge dominant narratives and support locally rooted solutions. We believe that real change comes from within, and our role is to connect, uplift, and resource those already doing the work. We are not here to impose solutions. Instead, we believe in localization and decentralization, ensuring that Palestinian refugee communities have the tools and autonomy to shape their own futures. Why We Exist: For decades, Palestinian refugees have been spoken about, but rarely listened to. International aid models often impose short-term relief instead of developing long-term autonomy. MADAD was born from the belief that "change" must come from within—and that people most affected by displacement must be centered in the decisions that shape their futures. How You Can Get Involved: 🌱 Partner with us – We build long-term, values-aligned partnerships with grassroots organizations. 🧠 Share & support our studies – Help spread refugee-led research and storytelling. 📢 Amplify our media – Share our work, challenge misconceptions, and help reclaim the narrative. 📩 Contact us: connect@madadcollective.org
