Malaysia Energy Efficiency and Solar Thermal Application Project (MAEESTA) is a national initiative supported by the Government of Malaysia, funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).This 5 year project which is being executed by SIRIM Bhd aims to support the reduction of fossil C02 emissions by improving thermal energy efficiency in industrial heating and cooling processes, process optimization and the utilization of solar thermal energy.
