Microalgae are standing as the food ingredients of the future due to the functional, sustainable & beneficial characteristics that they come with. Having joined forces with some of the most innovative EIT - Food member companies from Sweden, France, Slovenia, Spain & Greece during our 2-year MAEL Project, we aim at developing the next generation of healthy, safe & sustainable food end-products using alternative proteins, healthy oils and natural pigments coming from microalgae. Our project's initiatives cover the entire manufacturing process, from animal-free raw materials to plant-based fish, meat and eggs.
