Magaru searchs a real, sustainable and affordable alternative to the furniture that we currently use in most of our homes. The mass-produced furniture created and imported from countries located far away is causing incalculable damage to our planet. The deforestation of thousands of forests, the carbon footprint generated by unsustainable logistics and the constant generation of waste are just some of the consequences of the throwaway philosophy. Magaru is a team created from the collaboration of three companies that have been in the world of sustainable design for a long time: Comcosy, Estudio Buenos Días and We Are Builders. We all love our planet and want to protect it, we also love intelligent and serene design. All Magaru pieces are designed to last longer than the person who buys them, they will be part of their lives and their children’s. Inspired by the legendary Japanese art of origami, we have designed furniture by folding a single sheet of steel. A tribute to the concept "less is more". All the furniture in the collection is made of steel. A resistant, 100% recyclable, durable and sustainable material that we have folded in the simplest ways to avoid weak points. Steel can also be recycled infinitely without losing quality. Currently 75% of the steel created in Spain is recycled, this makes it the material of the future. All the pieces are painted to protect the steel. They are painted in a single, carefully chosen, color, and are designed to adapt to any context, with delicate lines and simple shapes. An intelligent and circular design that simplifies production to the maximum, reduces the carbon footprint, reduces prices and rewards local production. But Magaru is not a piece of furniture "Of Design" IT IS NOT EXCLUSIVE, MAGARU IS A MOVEMENT, A WAY OF THINKING That's why we have launched Magaru with a crowdfunding, we want to get rid of the big design brands only available for a few people.
