The MAGCCINE project focuses on creating an advanced magnetic refrigeration prototype tailored for vaccine cold storage and transportation. Our primary objective is to demonstrate the viability of a new device design employing the rotating magnetocaloric effect. This innovative approach not only eliminates the safety concerns associated with traditional refrigerants but also holds the promise of enhanced energy efficiency and reduced production costs compared to other alternative refrigeration systems.
