Magic Lantern and Sepia

Magic Lantern, the Film Society of Daulat Ram College was inaugurated in November 2008, by award-winning Filmmaker and social activist Ms. Sehjo Singh who also screened her latest Documentary. Sepia, the Photography Society was added about a decade later and the two merged under the Film and Photography Society (FPS). The main objective of the Society has been to familiarize the students with the language of Cinema and Photography by engaging them in various workshops, activities and seminars. Over the years, our Society has conducted various events like– film screenings, interactive speaker sessions regular assignments and feedback sessions, and photo walks.
