MAGIC-RR

Many of Europe’s Research Reactors (RRs) are over 60 years old, yet they remain vital for nuclear research, the production of medical isotopes, and advanced education in nuclear technology. The Magic-RR project (2024-2028), a four-year Euratom initiative, unites 11 expert partners from across the world. Together, this consortium is dedicated to addressing the challenges of ageing reactors and ensuring their continued safe operation through innovation, collaboration, and advanced research.
