Mahan Architects is a design-led practice based in Bengaluru, founded in 1996 by principal architect Rajesh Mahan. We are a closely knit collective of architects, designers, and consultants brought together by a shared ethos: to craft architecture that is timeless, meaningful, and responsive to its environment. Our portfolio spans a broad spectrum from bespoke residences and multi-unit housing to hospitality, institutional, commercial, and master planning projects. We’ve had the privilege of working with international clients and collaborating with global design studios, including a conceptual partnership with Palmer & Turner Architects. These engagements have broadened our perspective while reinforcing our contextual, site-specific design philosophy. At Mahan, architecture is seen as a dialogue between site and structure, material and light, form and function. Sustainability is embedded from the earliest design gesture, and each project is treated as an opportunity to balance clarity with emotion, cost-efficiency with craftsmanship, and restraint with resonance.
