Based in Dole in the Jura region and founded in 2008 by 4 research professors from the University of Franche Comté experts in materials science, MAHYTEC is an innovative company with a strong R&D potential. MAHYTEC is one of the few companies to master two hydrogen storage technologies: compressed storage with tanks capable of withstanding high pressures and solid storage via metal hydride tanks. MAHYTEC joined the HENSOLDT group in July 2021 with the ambition to multiply its production capacities and become the center of excellence for hydrogen storage.
