Maïa Archive

Maïa Archive is a product development and consultancy studio which collaborates with independent brands and creators. We founded Maïa in 2019 initially focused on developing and producing fashion items, including woven, jersey, and knitwear products in Northern Italy. Today, thanks to our network of skilled Italian artisans, manufacturers and suppliers, we manage everything from sourcing to production across a wide range of crafts, such as leather, ceramics, and metal accessories. ACTIVITIES Maïa Archive offers a wide range of services, including product development consultancy, which covers material sourcing such as yarn, leather, and fabrics, as well as all stages of accessory and garment development. The studio is also engaged in research projects and collaborations focused on materials and techniques, working with creatives who share our vision. We also organize research trips in Italy to explore local craftsmanship, offering creatives and schools the opportunity to visit workshops and learn traditional techniques. Additionally, we are developing customized product development courses for designers or creatives, combining creativity and technical expertise to guide them through every phase of the production process with a focus on a deep understanding of craftsmanship, production processes, and supply chain. Maïa always looks for the most sustainable options and try to avoid overproductions.
