Maila's Present is a purpose-driven company dedicated to supporting families through the journey of baby loss. Founded in 2024 by Helena Morais, Maila's Present creates personalized, heartfelt storybooks that honour the lives and memories of babies who are no longer with us. Through beautifully crafted books, we help families cherish their babies’ stories, ensuring that every baby is remembered and celebrated. At Maila's Present, we believe that every baby, regardless of gestational age, deserves to be remembered and honoured. Our storybooks reflect diverse family dynamics and experiences, from stillbirth, miscarriage, TFMR to multiple losses, trying to conceive, and childlessness. With a detailed focus on inclusivity, our books feature babies of all skin tones and hair types . We are committed to raising awareness around baby loss, advocating for change, and offering families a tangible, emotional keepsake to help them in their grief journey. In addition to our core mission, Maila's Present partners with charities such as 4Louis, Held in Our Hearts, Ebony Bonds Support and Sofia’s Wish, donating a percentage of proceeds to support the vital work these organisations do. Our mission is simple: To offer comfort, remembrance, and a lasting tribute to every little one who touched a family’s heart, no matter how briefly.
