August 2006: Here’s a story…start a clothing company with no merchandise except a few samples, start a blog, network like crazy, and attract the attention of up and coming and already established sports stars, musicians, racers, and lifestyle mavens. Sound good? How about product placement on a new NIKE commercial which has its international debut this Fall? Not a bad start for Albany, New York based upstart clothing line Mainline Nation. Comprised of a trio of so called “nice guys” with an eye for good looks and interesting lifestyles, Mainline has already managed to attract an amazing amount of attention, even though their trademark shirts, hoodies, and caps are still in production.
