Building on more than twenty years of Architecture & Engineering experience in the region and internationally, Meisa Batayneh and her team of associates established maisam architects & engineers with the vision to utilize knowledge, innovation and design in the pursuit of architectural excellence. maisam’s expertise is focused on providing planning, architecture and design services to developers, corporations, governments and individuals. maisam’s multi-disciplinary team comprises architects, engineers, urban planners, project managers, landscape designers, and branding experts. When required, maisam draws on a fine group of strategic alliances with international and regional firms and consultants whose expertise includes infrastructure design, leisure management, environment planning, sustainable development, etc, selecting the right team of specialists to support and nurture each project from conception to implementation. Over the year’s maisam’s team have been producing diverse landmark projects in the region, ranging from sustainable master-planning for the east coast of the Dead Sea to culturally vibrant and eco-friendly island developments in the Gulf region. Other landmark projects include a master plan for a new city development project in Pakistan that will eventually accommodate two million people; several mixed use projects in the Abdali Urban Regeneration development, the largest resort development on the east cost of the dead sea, the embellishment of the Martyr’s memorial complete with its gardens of love, peace, tolerance, and forgiveness, which is a source of national pride in Jordan. maisam’s Portfolio also comprises diverse prestigious projects, such as: the new terminal building at Queen Alia International Airport and the Living Wall mixed use project, both of which done in collaboration with the world renowned architects Fosters and Partners, the place branding and design of several bank branches; numerous majestic Royal palaces across the region; and a heritage residence in Santa Fe that incorporates Oriental and Pueblo American styles in a seamless fusion, among others. In order to respond to the increasingly competitive environment and the need for economic efficiency and organizational responsiveness, maisam has adopted a horizontal organizational structure in the form of a digital chain of intersecting units. Each unit is self-directed and operates on the basis of multi-disciplinary teams working together on a per project basis to achieve maisam’s strategic goals.
