DOMINO

Domino is a project that was born wondering how it was possible to reuse archive materials – which are inventories of previous projects - and give them new life. Made possible because made within a company - ATHENA SRL - that skillfully works marble for generations, Domino tries to shake the culture that thinks of marble as a "severe" material - and proposes elements which are curios, original and often unique, precisely because they are made with reuse elements. Domino is inspired by the interior design of the first 007 films. Innovation, novelty and sensuality are describing spaces furnished with fresh and surprising taste. The materials, lines, proportions and finishes are different from what was customary to see in luxury spaces until then: they describe a new generation, young and finely unconventional. In the same way Domino wants to portray the marble detached from the usual. Archival materials are reused to create amazing objects that can be dual-use, interchangeable and assembled at will.
