Jacques Soulat places local wines at the heart of the offerings of his two shops: La Cave de Saint-Sornin and Maison Soulat at Les Halles d'Angoulême. The other wine regions of France are also represented, as well as a selection of spirits from the Charente (cognac, gin, vodka, etc.), Japanese whiskies and armagnacs.
Since 2018 and in association with winemaker Olivier Pucek, Jacques Soulat has been working on restructuring the historic vineyard of Saint-Sornin. Following an organic approach, he produces authentic winemakers' wines. "Sapiens" and "Petit Sapiens" are the first in a decade to carry the appellation Vin Charentais - Saint-Sornin.
As a local wine merchant in Bordeaux for over twenty years, Jacques Soulat offers you each spring the Bordeaux “ en primeur”, or wine futures. Our older vintages are available year round.
