Major Drilling Indonesia

Formally Known as PT Pontil. Originally registered in Indonesia in 1996. Over the last 28 years PT. Pontil Indonesia and now known as PT. Major Drilling Indonesia has been operating at the PT Freeport Indonesia project site in West Papua conducting extensive Diamond and Percussive Drilling Services on the surface and underground as well to depths off +/- 1,000 meters in difficult Drilling conditions. During our progression we have provided Drilling Services to several leading companies in mining industry around Indonesia. These include PT. Vale (Sumbawa Timur Mining), PT. Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMNT), PT. Bumi Suksesindo (BSI) PT. Nusa Halmahera Minerals (NHM), PT. Puncak Emas Tani Sejahtera (PETS), PT. Sumbawa Barat Mineral (SBM). Our experienced crews operate a variety of rigs in both the surface and underground environments. These include large track mounted surface rigs, Heli portable exploration rigs, underground LM coring rigs complete with DCI upgrades and Rod Handlers. In addition to the normal coring techniques the underground team also conduct hydrofracking activities. Our goal is to provide a quality product for our client in a cost-efficient manner while building a strong safety culture.
