Majuli is India's first-ever island district, it captivates with its stunning landscapes and a tapestry of vibrant cultural heritage. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering local youth and communities in the beautiful region of Majuli. Our mission is to create a thriving and sustainable future for the island and its people. Youth Empowerment and Job Creation are at the heart of what we do. We provide training and education in new-age skills like Digital Marketing, Inside Sales, and Technical Writing, equipping young people with the knowledge to secure gainful employment or start their own ventures. Specialized Skill Development is another pillar of our work. We offer training in fields relevant to the region's needs, such as renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, eco-tourism, and modern construction techniques. Higher Education Exposure is vital for growth. We connect local youth with higher education opportunities, scholarships, and internships, enriching their expertise to improve the locality's infrastructure and services. Mentorship is essential for a global perspective. We foster cross-border mentorship, connecting students with foreign mentors to enhance learning experiences and collaboration. In addition to skill development, we actively work on Agriculture & Floods. Our flood relief efforts provide immediate assistance to affected communities, and we promote vetiver cultivation and flood prevention measures to enhance environmental resilience. Promoting Natural Farming, Permaculture, and creating Food Forests are other ways we encourage sustainable practices and food security for the region.
