About Majunaka Eco Energy

Majunaka Eco Energy Sdn Bhd, an eco-energy-generating firm, is the owner and operator of Malaysia's first rice husk fired power plant, currently being built in Naka, Padang Terap, Kedah Darul Aman. Upon its completion in 2018, the biomass power plant will sell 7.9 MW of its generating capacity of 9.95 MW to Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), and utilise the remaining capacity for internal power consumption.
