Bringing benefits to our businesses is at the heart of everything we do. Make it Ealing is the one organisation that champions the interests of business in Ealing town centre.
From providing services to save businesses money, delivering projects to support business, running events that encourage greater footfall to making long-term improvements in the town centre for the benefit of all, we are dedicated to improving the business environment.
Our vision for the five-year term 2016-2021 is to 'together we will ensure Ealing town centre leads as a place to do business and thrives as a creative place for culture, arts and enterprise.' All our programmes and services centre on this aim.
On 25 July 2016 we changed the company name from Ealing Broadway BID to Make it Ealing and by doing so, we hope to strengthen the connection between people and Ealing town centre.
The business improvement district is administered by a company, Make it Ealing Ltd, formed to manage the funds, which is managed by a Board of Directors, representing a cross sector of businesses in the area. The BID is run by businesses for businesses. A fund raised from a levy on all business units over a £10,000 rateable value is used to pay for the projects and services. The BID deliver projects and services, over and above those provided by Ealing Council and the Metropolitan Police.
