Make It POP 2020

We love Ottawa! Therefore, our team curated Make It POP 2020, Ottawa's local pop-up shop. We are promoting everything local at our event on March 11th 2020. Here at Make it POP, we have set out to encourage positive impactful commerce towards local Ottawa vendors. Building a community is a group effort, so our team of 12 is striving to “Make it POP” with Ottawa’s local pop-up shop! We’re going to bring people together to shop, eat, drink, and mingle; all with the purpose of raising money for three local charities - The Dave Smith Youth Treatment Center, Candlelighters, and Ottawa Riverkeeper. Make it POP 2020 is a two part event. There will be a Market that runs the full length from 2pm-9pm and an Afterparty that starts at 5pm and goes until 9pm. Picture the heart of the event as a vibrant pop-up shop filled with locally donated and upcycled clothing surrounded by a local artisan vendor Market selling their goods that have been tenderly handcrafted in the Ottawa area. The event will take place at the Algonquin Student Commons, so we expect hundreds of students, faculty members and the local community to wander into our Market. The Afterparty, is a ticketed exclusive event priced at only $20. We will have our very own indoor beer garden sponsored by Local Lager, local live music and good soul food. You can also bid on lots of amazing products at our very own silent auction and a balloon-pop raffle.
