WHO WE ARE: Since 1947, Make Mothers Matter has been advocating for mothers as changemakers. As an international, apolitical, and non-denominational NGO with General Consultative Status at the UN, we ensure mothers’ voices are heard in policy-making. WHAT WE DO: We work to improve mothers’ lives by: ► Advocating for policies that support them. ► Raising awareness of their essential role in families and society. ► Mobilising a global network of grassroots organisations. WHAT WE FOCUS ON: We promote action in three key areas: ► Mothers & the Economy – Financial and workplace support. ► Mothers & Health – Maternal and child well-being. ► Mothers & Peace – Women’s role in peacebuilding.
