MAKEN INTERNATIONAL ENGINEERING LTD.

MAKEN which was established in the year 2008 by three young engineers, is a Turkish consulting engineering company providing multi-disciplinary engineering services, locally in Istanbul, Turkey. MAKEN provides services covering reconnaissance, master plan and feasibility studies, design, surveying, expropriation services, project management services, consultancy and construction supervision for dams and hydro electrical power plants. MAKEN provides technical and advisory services to banks and big investment funds. This service consists of technical evaluation of the project, geological risk evaluation, hydrology studies, determination of annual electricity production potential, evaluation of maintenance costs, repair costs and operational expenses, risk assessment, inspection of construction works during construction phase. Since 2014 MAKEN assigned to be the exclusive representative of BITC (Beijing IWHR Technology Co. Ltd.) who is one of the biggest electromechanical equipment manufacturer in China and started to provide service in this field. BITC has many ongoing and commissioned(in operation) projects in Turkey. BITC has accomplished two important projects; Bayramhacili Dam (50 MW/Kızılırmak River) and Güllübag Dam (99 MW/Çoruh River) in Turkey. Also four projects; Kirazlık Weir and Kozbuku HEPP and Sansa HEPP which belong to AKSA Energy and Karakus HEPP and Gunesli HEPP which belong to Mehmet Gunes Construction Company are under construction.
