Makerarm is a factory on a desktop. A beautifully designed, SCARA robot that’s infinitely customizable, Makerarm offers Interchangeable tool heads that easily snap on and off allowing instant conversion from a 3D printer to a CNC mill, to a laser engraver, to a pick and place machine among countless other functions in a matter of seconds.
In addition to its disruptive role in the fabrication market, Makerarm is enabling the automation revolution. With the ability to automate complex tasks, one or more Makerarms can increase efficiency and drastically cut costs for small manufacturers, labs and businesses. Makerarm is wireless, allowing it to easily connect to nearby computers and even collaborate with other Makerarms to create a custom assembly line.
Each Makerarm unit comes with our custom software. We spent much of the last year ensuring that our UI is intuitive and easy for beginners while allowing expert users to fully customize their projects. Tool heads are automatically detected when attached to Makerarm and the correct user interface pulls up on the connected computer or handheld device. Currently we support 17 toolheads.
Makerarm set out to democratize fabrication and automation by making it accessible to everyone––from individual inventors, to makerspaces, schools, small businesses, and beyond. By offering fabrication and automation technology at an affordable price (one unit with all tool-heads is available for pre-order for less than $4,000), we hope to enable the next revolution in manufacturing.
