We are a social enterprise based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. We specialise in eco-friendly construction, net-zero homes, integrated farms, agro-tourism infrastructure & community architecture tailored to the needs of the western Himalayas and Indian villages. With footprints in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh our approach integrates traditional wisdom with modern innovation. We collaborate with modern day farmers and ecopreneurs crafting financially viable and community centric models propagating the idea of circular economy. Makesense eco-ventures has emerged as a combination of architecture firm and a farm design consultancy, blurring the lines between urban and rural, we aim to bring the concept of planning and architecture to Indian villages, revitalise them into avenues of sustainable tourism, green innovation and entrepreneurship. With a strong research base in traditional architecture and indigenous construction systems, we also organise knowledge sharing workshops and training programs on eco-friendly construction, regenerative farming and sustainable tourism.
