Making Waves Film Festival supports and exhibits pioneering work by international talent and local independent filmmakers. Founded in 2012 the Making Waves International Film Festival encourages entries from local, UK and International filmmakers, and hosts a screening event each year to exhibit the Official Selections to a live audience, who are also responsible for selecting the Audience Award for Best Film.
