Makken Strategy

Our core focus areas are on growth strategy, marketing strategy, customer experience, and employee experience. Our project teams consist of 3-4 highly capable university students who have demonstrated strong aptitude for problem solving, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, curiosity to learn, and innovation. Projects are typically 7-9 weeks. There will typically be 3-4 touchpoints with the project team after initial scoping discussions. One introductory meeting for discovery, one midpoint check-in, one pre-final review, and one final review to complete project delivery. We support our consultants through rigorous growth and professional development. Our project teams will be working with professionals from top consulting firms to get hands-on working experience driving value for real world clients. We teach core skillsets that are critical in the consulting industry such as research, data analysis, professional writing, facilitation, presentation, project management, etc. We also have opportunities for professional networking, social functions, and resume workshops. The experience provided is supplemented with a digital learning path that includes content such as “Strategy Consulting 101”, “Interviewing with consulting firms: How To”, and "Guide to Certifications for Strategy Consulting, and more.
