Malbro, Inc. was incorporated as a general contractor in 1983, when brothers Denis, Kevin, and Peter, pooled their resources, bought a backhoe, and the rest is history. As an industry leader in terms of technology adoption, we combine our decades of experience with the most current tools and techniques both in the field and the office. At the forefront of technological change in our industry, we understand the significant challenges in training, transitioning, and final implementation, as tools constantly change, adapt, and update. Our team is ready to implement any technologies, platforms, or guidelines set by our clients and all stakeholders involved. Malbro is capable of producing quality drawings and/or takeoffs using tools such as Revit, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Procore, Matterport, Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, and others. From a contractor’s perspective, our ability to visually communicate effectively means quicker closeouts and completion of work, and a greatly streamlined Change Order approval process when site conditions arise. Based in storm-vulnerable Breezy Point, New York City for over 30 years, Malbro was approached by longtime clients affected by Hurricane Sandy, to become their contractor as part of the Build It Back Program. Malbro has since matured as a top GC within the New York City Build It Back Program, gaining recognition for our unique skill-set and experience, enabling us to get projects done ahead of the competition. Malbro has successfully managed and delivered over $62 Million of storm recovery projects which include elevations, rebuilds, and repairs, and maintains an available bonding capacity of $65 Million. Expanding our resume into recovery efforts in Puerto Rico, Texas, & Florida, Malbro is able to work with various governmental agencies and design, expediting, and construction management firms, and coordinate between the same. We offer a wealth of experience and a vast knowledge of the technology needed for resilient reconstruction.
