Mallacoota District Health and Support Service

Mallacoota District Health and Support Service (MDHSS) is a charitable not-for-profit health service. Our core business is to improve the health and well-being of the community. We are motivated by a vision of communities where more people experience good health and fulfilling lifestyles. Improved access to health care and better information about healthy lifestyle choices are the building blocks of resilient communities. We always provide our personal best, to embrace a 'can-do attitude' and strive to go the extra distance for individual clients and the community. We also provide community-based health care and support services to enable people to live independently at home for as long as they want. During the recent Mallacoota bushfires, the District Health Centre transformed to a relief and recovery centre, evolving continuously to prioritise the needs of the community. Creating a holistic environment is what contributes to making the Mallacoota District Community Health and Support Service a positive, respectful and transformative place for the health and support of our community.
