MALLMA STUDIO

We are an experimental design studio focused in exploring and expanding the use of the precious handmade pure wool textiles of our sister brand, AWANAY. With these wool treasures at our core, we envision organic art expressions and one of a kind furniture collections. We develop our own llama and sheep wool weaving 100% handmade by expert artisans in northern Argentina following ancestral traditions. The furniture structures are also artisanally made by local craftspeople in Buenos Aires. Nothing is industrially made, every piece in fully handamde and worked on carefully as an unrepeatable item. We also experiment with other materials like antique woods and linens to create custom furniture that create soulful, lifting spaces. Eclectic art and collections where the ancient and the modern unite, contrast, mix and match. Our studio is based in Buenos Aires and we are dedicated to offering exclusive customization possibilities for interior design projects all over the world.
